I wrote this poem back in 2020 called “Dear Black Men: A Black Woman’s Plea.” I recently decided to turn it into a song.
This poem is really special to me. Not everyone who hears it will fully understand why I wrote it, but it came straight from my heart. It was something that sat heavy in my spirit, and I felt called to put it into words.
